RADIOTHON SPECIAL: Stony Brook Concerts Marathon

On Saturday, November 27, WUSB is celebrating Stony Brook University's rich history of amazing concerts from world renowned bands and musicians, going back 60 years.

From 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, enjoy 12 hours of music from artists who have played at Stony Brook University. We'll have a few of them join us live on air while we unearth some live gems from our archives.

Joe V will kick us off at 10:00 AM with music from James Taylor, NRPS, Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead.

Then at 1:00 PM, Charlie J will take the airwaves with a tribute to NRBQ.

At 3:00 PM, Mike Katzman joins Kenny Hahn with a Peter Gabriel special, than Marc Green and Bill Darling will play some Hot Tuna and Jefferson Airplane.

Buddy Merriam will come on at 6:00 PM with some Frank Wakefield and the Good Ol' Boys until 8:00 PM.

That's when DJ Bobby B and Kevin K will close out the special with Frank Zappa.

We'll also have Kingfish, Bill Monroe, QSM, Bromberg, Jackson Brownem Janis Joplin, Ian Moby Grape and so much more!

Radiothon Special Jazz On The Air - Pat Martino and Steven Gatto

Legendary jazz guitarist Pat Martino passed away earlier this month and on Sunday, November 14, Mr Edison and guitarist Steven Gatto will celebrate the long legacy of music this master musician left behind.
