Everything Is Broken playlist for 02/19/2013

Our show TUESDAY 1-2:30PM eastern on air and online at will focus on the nation-state of TEXAS! We have lots of questions, ranging from what appears to many of us as a radical right State Board of Education that wants to ban the teaching of critical thinking and has pushed Creationism into the curricula. A state that has petitioned the White House for secession with over 125,000 signatures. We will also look at the recent Univ. of Texas study that shows over 50% of Texans don’t believe in evolution. What the hell is going on in Texas?!

Our featured guest is Lori Spencer. Austin-based Lori is a Contributing Editor at This Can't Be Happening! Her work can be seen regularly on Counterpunch and OpEdNews. She also writes about music and politics for Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Music News, and Yahoo! News UK. Lori is also a musician/songwriter, and has played with a variety of blues, rock and jazz bands over the past 25 years.

We will also feature Kathy Kelly's speech on Long Island last month. she had just returned from her 12th trip to afghanistan.
