TODAY we will chat about anti-intellectualism with GEOFF BRACKETT, Exectutive Vice President, Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Dr. Brackett is new to Marist after having served 20 years at Pace University in many capacities, most recently as Provost for and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs from 2007 to 2010. He oversaw the launch of the Pace Academy for Applied Environmental Studies and is published extensively. GEOFF is currently editing a textbook of collected writings on the Hudson River, and has recently completed a travel memoir about his trips to Alaska and Antarctica. Beyond his academic achievements, he is a songwriter and a musician and member of BMI. http://www.marist.edu/about/gb.html
