He shines light in dark places at the capitol (Madison) as executive director of the Wisconsin Democracy Campaign, a nonpartisan watchdog group that tracks the money in state politics, fights government corruption and works for reforms that make people matter more than money in politics. Phil is the former Treasurer of the State of Calif., who last month concluded an 18-month stint as Chairman of the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission.
