Virtual Bob Dylan Birthday Celebration, Sunday, May 24th, 6 P.M. on Facebook

Although we had to cancel our live Bob Dylan 79th Birthday Celebration in WUSB's Sunday Street Series at The Long Island Museum on May 24th due to COVIN-19, we couldn't let the event go by without some sort of celebration.

Therefore, we're planning a virtual Bob Dylan Birthday Celebration on The Long Island Museum's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/LImuseum/ from 6 PM until 8 PM. on Sunday, May 24th.

We'll be sharing video highlights from Dylan Birthday Celebrations in WUSB's Sunday Street Series from 2012 (when the Series took place at The University Cafe on the Stony Brook campus) to 2019, at its current location at The Long Island Museum. Look for our regular Dylan band, featuring The Kennedys, Rod MacDonald, Russ Seeger, Steve Kaplan, Brian Kachejian, and Tom Ryan (all in the photo below from our 2017 show celebrating Dylan's 76th birthday) along with several surprise guests.

In addition to these archived performances, we'll also share some newly-recorded (at home) Dylan songs by Bill Scorzari, Emily Duff, Pete Mancini, Bob Westcott and Mary Lamont with Jim Marchese.

Please join us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/LImuseum/ ) on Sunday, May 24th at 6 P.M.
