New music from Jory Nash, Nels Andrews, Suzie Brown and Hat Check Girl (Annie Gallup and Peter Gallway) and a phone conversation with Jez Lowe, who will be in concert at The University Cafe on Sunday, October 28th at 2 P.M. in the Sunday Street Acoustic Concert Series, co-sponsored by The University Cafe.

Today's program featured several tracks from Lynn Miles' third volume in her "Black Flowers" series, as well as new music from Van Morrison, Charlie Peacock, Annabelle Chvostek, Hans Theessink and John Cale. We also played a set of songs from Jez Lowe, who will be in concert at The University Cafe on Sunday, October 28th, at 2 P.M. Additionally, we asked for listener support for WUSB during our current Radiothon.

Another busy edition of SUNDAY STREET. We featured two tracks from Caitlin Canty's impressive new album, GOLDEN HOUR, spoke on the phone with Sarah McQuaid, who is in the midst of an ambitious US tour, and were most pleasntly surprised by an in-studio visit from Iain Matthews who, with Jim Fogarty,was at Stony Brook to do an afternoon concert in our series at The University Cafe. And, oh yes, we continued to ask listeners to support WUSB during our Fall Radiothon and sincerely thank those who called in and made pledges.
