I play some new singles from some amazing people who all happen to be releasing new singles at the same time. Look below. It's quite a list.

The second hour sees me revisiting a mid-2015 playlist that still holds up really well for me. Seriously, congrats to me for working former American Idol Runner-Up Bo Bice into a playlist next to Mavis Staples and having it work kinda okay.

Also, some guy kept pushing and pushing on the phone until I agreed to play "Green Grass & High Tides." Immediately. Not between my two playlists. Now. Grrrr.

Holiday Edition!

Thor Platter leads today's show with his debut album Take Time. With the end of 2017 coming near, I can't help but replay Natalie Hemby's interview and album. It's an easy Top 5 of the Year for me and it last aired in March.

Two shows left this year! Something pretty special is hitting on Christmas Day.

Nora Jane Struthers gets an extra long appearance on the show this week, plus a trimmed down rerun of our Mile Twelve episode now that their album is out.

Sam Gleaves is back on the program to promote his Smithtown show on Sunday, September 10th at 7 pm. Local favorite Rorie Kelly is opening. The first half of the show draws from Sam's duo album Sam Gleaves & Tyler Hughes. The second half of the program features songs from both top names and locals at The Great Eastern Music Festival.

There's nothing I can do, it's a total eclipse of a playlist. Lots of sun, moon, and shadow songs.

Four hours of show. 6-7pm features favorites to this point in the year, 7-8 was a preview of Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, 10-11 was a rerun of an interview with Justin Townes Earle and 11-12 was a rerun of segments with Whitney Rose and The Travelling Ones

First, Jaime Wyatt talks about her 'outlaw' experience and distaste for judgement. Then at 7, a preview of Friday's concert produced by this very show in Smithtown's Frank Brush Barn. I figured the best way to do that was to rerun our Sep 6 show. We don't have much time for other tracks but I slipped one in from Jack White protege Lillie Mae.
