This morning we celebrate the life of recently departed Indian tablā player and composer Zakir Hussain. Featuring his solo material and collaborations with British guitarist John McLaughlin and their Shakti incarnations, Mickey Hart, Diga Rhythm Band, Bela Fleck & Edgar Meyer.
Zakir was prominent player of traditional Indian music and we will play his collaborations with Shivkumar Sharma, L Shankar, Hariprasad.
