The program will center on the history of three folk festivals --- Newport, Philadelphia and Falcon Ridge, with archival recordings going back to the very first Newport folk festival in 1959. We’ll also share the controversial Bob Dylan performance at the 1965 Newport festival.

Elliott, Tom Paxton, Bonnie Raitt, Richie Havens, Tom Rush, Judy Collins, Jackson Browne, The

Director Ra'anan Alexandrowicz Talks THE VIEWING BOOTH on Tom Needham’s SOUNDS OF FILM

Director Ra'anan Alexandrowicz Talks THE VIEWING BOOTH on Tom Needham’s SOUNDS OF FILM

THE VIEWING BOOTH recounts a unique encounter between a filmmaker and a viewer — exploring the way meaning is attributed to non-fiction images in today’s day and age. In a lab-like location, Maia Levy, a young Jewish American woman, watches videos portraying life in the occupied West Bank, while verbalizing her thoughts and feelings in real time.
