Bold Captain's Radio Celebration - Tribute to a Long Island Legend

April 14, 2023
6:00am to 2:00pm (EST)

Celebrate and Commemorate Scott Vid (aka “Bold Captain”) with his WUSB Friends on Friday April 14.

Scott was truly a modern age renaissance man. An excellent sound-man, he had many more skills & interests including: graphic art; musicology; writing poetry and lyrics to name just a few. Scott wrote dozens of songs in partnership with Tom San Filippo. Eight hours barely scratches the surface of his works.

Our celebration is a multifaceted production containing music from Scott’s “Vault”, Local Musician Friends Recollections with Live In-Studio Performance, and whatever else we can drum up to send Scott off with honor and gratitude.

Beginning at 6am and going to 2pm, Friday April 14 is gonna be a radio special unlike any other. You’ll want to be there, too.
