OUR SHOW TOMORROW TUESDAY; 1-3PM EDT will focus on gender disparity. Women make up half the population, but only 19 percent of Congress and less than a quarter of state legislative and statewide executive positions. Even worse, the rate of increase in women's representation has stagnated at every level of elected office. Also new research shows the male/female income gap has remained at 20% despite women more educated than men and pursuing higher income positions.

Joining us will be Cynthia Terrell. Cynthia is a founder of Representation2020 and FairVote and has served as a board member of several charitable organizations and Quaker institutions. She has worked in the area of voting system reform in this country and abroad. Cynthia has also worked extensively on political campaigns at all federal levels. She has been published in the Washington Post, The Nation, and The Christian Science Monitor and has appeared on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal.
