Our third installment features parts 5 & 6 of a seven and a half hour studio recreation utilizing his full instrumentation- hardware and virtual synths, PVC flutes, field recordings and extended slow motion drones. The sleep concert is an important subset of his long career as an electronic composer which he developed as a student at Stanford University playing communal music concerts in the dorm lounge during a full sleep cycle with the audience laid out on the floor in sleeping bags. Originally released as the first Blu-Ray audio in 2014 “Perpetual” the source material is a 16bit 96db Bandcamp AIFF download. |
