i started out pretty tired for this show, but the music and the company cheered me up quite a bit!

someone called in tonight and told me they wanted to kill their self. i tried to keep them on the line as long as possible, and he requested some death grips songs and some other cool stuff. eventually he said he had to go because someone else was calling him. i didn't want him to hang up but he did. later on someone else called in to request a song that probably saved his life--a friend of the first caller who requested a song meant as an inside joke. later on, the first caller came back and said he was alright and requested more songs c:

alone in the studio. hangin' out. studyin' fr GREs, everyone's gone home. it's the first week since school let out. 14 weeks of summer, here we come. in fact, this week is numero one.

got a lot planned. been reading simon reynolds's Energy Flash. we might get some Detroit techno vibes goin' on in my later shows... for now, there's just a little hint of that.

chillin out with devuroasts. it's graduation week! finals are over!

tonight's show is dedicated to 15 hollow, a fantastic place that i have spent many a lovely time. it will soon be gone in its current iteration, and thus, to celebrate, i have compiled a list of songs that captures the spirit of the house's vibe (at least, part of it--the members have eclectic taste and it's impossible to capture it all).
