Progressive/Art Rock band Evership is the conceptualization of composer, multi-instrumentalist and producer/engineer Shane Atkinson. Shane played in Nashville bands and as a backup musician for label artists in the late 80's and 90's. As a composer he wrote on Music Row and always having a studio running somewhere in the Nashville area, was a prolific composer with musical work spanning from commercials and film to orchestral and theater. He made two records with the 90's Alternative Rock band Curious Fools, but with the birth of his first child, he decided to leave the music business for the budding software industry.

Star Trek: Original Series Set Tour is Located in Historic downtown Ticonderoga, New York.

When the STAR TREK television series was canceled in 1969, the original sets were dismantled and largely destroyed, only a few small items of the actual sets remain today, and those that have survived are in private collections. Trek superfan James Cawley began the process of rebuilding the sets just as they would have been seen 50 years ago when the series was being filmed, a 14 year journey has culminated in the most accurate rebuild of the original sets, and is now open and welcoming STAR TREK fans from all over the world!

Our sets are complete recreations built using the original blueprints, hundreds of hours of serious research and thousands of photographs – both period images and images culled from extensive review and capture from the original episodes. The sets will NOT and were NOT designed to move from one city to another and are fully licensed by CBS. The Star Trek: Original Series Set Tour Invites you to come see the Desilu Studio as it looked during the years between 1966-1969 while Star Trek was in production.

Binnie Klien Interview!

Captain Phil's Planet playlist for 01/13/2022

Captain Phil's Planet welcomes back the planets Poet Laureate Gwynne Garfinkle for an interview discussing her new book, "Can’t Find My Way Home".
Young actress Joanna Bergman has been guilt-ridden for four years. Her best
friend Cynthia Foster died in a firebombing meant to protest a New York draft
board near their college in 1971. Jo was supposed to accompany the
charismatic Cyn on the night of the bombing but backed out at the last
minute. Jo’s new life is complicated enough: she’s falling for her soap opera
costar, the philandering Martin Yates, and trying to regain the sense of connection
she lost when Cyn died. But then Cyn’s ghost appears, furious with Jo for bailing
on her that fateful night and, worse, for going on living without her. As Jo tries to
figure out what her friend’s ghost wants from her, she is hurled again and again
back to the night of Cyn’s death.

Gwynne Garfinkle is a Los Angeles native, a fiction
writer, poet, and erstwhile rock critic. Her collection of
short fiction and poetry, People Change, was published in
2018 by Aqueduct Press. Her work has appeared in such
publications as Strange Horizons, Uncanny, Escape Pod,
