As the Summer Solstice arrives — bringing the shortest night of the year — we’ll celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead’s June 1976 tour with a special five-hour edition of Melting World.

Following a period of semi-inactivity and creative reset, the Dead returned with a refreshed sound and a reimagined touring approach, playing multiple theater dates in six cities across the U.S. Mickey Hart rejoined the band, new songs entered the rotation, tempos picked up, and the jams became more concise and focused.

Join us for three magnificent set segments from the Boston Music Hall shows on June 9, 10, and 11, along with music from adjacent jam-friendly bands.

We’ll celebrate fathers, grandfathers, the Summer Solstice, and the Grateful Dead — all in one special late-night trip through the Catacomb.
