From Ed Roller:

Remembering Boris Bardash (1964–2026)

This Sunday morning, we commemorate the life of the late Russian composer and musician Boris Bardash, whose groundbreaking underground band Ole Lukkoye remains one of the finest psychedelic acts to emerge from St. Petersburg.

Ole Lukkoye’s unique sound fused folk-inspired elements with space rock aesthetics, rich effects, electronic textures, and deep basslines—at times bordering on modern dance and trance music. Their hypnotic, elongated compositions, layered with vocals and chants, shimmer with a mystical energy.

In tribute to Boris, we’ll feature several tracks from Ole Lukkoye during the broadcast.

Also on this week’s Time Suspended segment:
– New music from The Tear Garden (Kevin Cey & Edward Ka-Spel)
– Parallel Worlds (Greece)
– Church of HED (USA)
– And in the Deep Drift segment: Steve Roach’s latest long-form immersive release, The Surface Below

Tune in Saturday at midnight (Sunday 12–5 AM)
