Next, Drs. James Barsi, clinical associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Stony Brook University, and Brian Lynch, a board certified pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Stony Brook Medicine, discuss misconceptions about the curvature of the spine, known as scoliosis.

Then, on Healthcast, Dr. Meghan Doelger, Stony Brook University Hospital’s nurse scientist, joins Dr. Tami Robitsek, Stony Brook University Hospital’s Director of Rapid Response, who is a mentor in the first cohort of a nursing evidence-based practice (EBP) fellowship.
