David Taylor, an associate professor in the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences at Stony Brook University, writes across disciplinary boundaries, but at the core of his work always is the concern for environmental sustainability and community. In addition, Elizabeth Hewitt, associate professor in the Department of Technology and Society, analyzes the social factors that play into our decisions towards recycling, energy usage, and waste management.
