Chris Greening is a graduating former DJ and President and the current business manager of WUSB who has had a huge influence over the station in the four years he has been a part of our team. When asked about how he first found WUSB, this is what he had to say, “I have a connection dating back to WUSB from when I was really young. Every Friday my dad would drive me to Levittown to visit my grandparents and on the ride home, he would listen to superman reruns that were broadcast from WUSB so when I grew up and was a DJ at that same station and then the president that was a cool feeling. I also listened to WUSB on and off throughout high school so it was cool to become so involved with it.” Graduating with a degree in physics and having been president of the station for two years was a demanding workload but his relentless nature lead him to handle everything tossed onto his plate. Some of Chris’ favorite memories from WUSB include broadcasting during a campus power outage his sophomore year, having a 3-6 AM show every Tuesday and then being half-asleep in lecture two hours after, moshing in the ucafe, and teaching new students how the station works. Many people at the station over the years have had great things to say about Chris and all his hard work. So much in fact that we would need our own newsletter to encompass it all. We can summarize it though by saying we are all thankful for the time and effort Chris has dedicated to making the station run and making it such a great environment. Good luck Chris!
