On tomorrow morning's edition of The In Crowd, we will be celebrating the 73rd birthday of percussionist extraordinaire Don Moye (Art Ensemble Of Chicago), the 50th anniversary of the release of the Who's Tommy and World Turtle Day (yes, I'll be playing The Turtles, Trampled By Turtles, and The Turtle Sisters). I'm also bringing a few records that I picked up at the record show this past weekend. Still working on how to weave all of this into a semi-coherent 3 hour show, so you'll just have to tune in and hear for yourself. 3 to 6AM on WUSB.FM , 90.1 FM or on your favorite radio app.
P.S. It's the 1 year anniversary of our world renowned "Tearing Off The Covers" segment. 5 covers at 5. Not to be missed.
