FEATURED INTERVIEW: Pat Coy, co-author of "Contesting Patriotism: Culture, Power, and Strategy in the Peace Movement". This sociological look at our efforts from 1990 (Gulf War I) to present is an excellent analysis of our shifting strategies and the pushback from what the authors call the "power holders". Coy is Director, Center for Applied Conflict, Kent State University - The Center was established in 1971 as a "living memorial" and as KSU's first institutional response to the shootings on May 4, 1970, when Ohio National Guardsmen killed four and injured nine Kent State University students during a student protest against the US war in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

Note: Hofstra Univ. sociologist Gregory Maney is another of the co-authors.
