Special Guest David Penna on the Next Captain Phil's Planet!
By Angelo on Mon, 03/26/2018 - 8:10pm

AIRS MARCH 29, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

My special in studio Guest David Penna will discuss his new EP Sublevels and take your WUSB Pledges! Also calling in will be Tony Beux of the 2 Birds Band to discuss his groups new album String Groover and the upcoming Sonic Voyage Fest on April 19th at DROM in NYC on this special radiothon edition of Captain Phil's Planet!

PENNA is New York musician David Penna's progressive hard rock solo project.
Originally envisioned as a band idea, PENNA's music is written, performed and produced entirely by Penna. His influences range from current-day bands like King's X and The Life And Times to lifelong idols Stevie Wonder and The Beatles. The music winds through shades of prog, metal, shoegaze and fusion, with lyrical themes touching on death, addiction and spirituality.
Penna is best known for his drumming work with Kronin, Planet Hate, Spastic Ink, Ad Astra and Ronnie Spector. He has also released EDM music, had compositions featured in tv & movies, and authored content for several Korg electronic instruments.
