Everything Is Broken playlist for 06/15/2010

TODAY we have a great show lined up –PART 3 of our GUSHER IN THE GULF series. Our focus will be on THE POLITICS OF DISASTERS here on Day 57 of a preventable catastrophe rooted in the greed and cynicism of unfettered “free markets.” The dream of conservatives, turned nightmare for the nation; the end game of unregulated plunder of our resources and our environment.

Our featured guest is Vince Gawronski, Associate Professor of Political Science at Birmingham Southern College. Vince has worked as a consultant for the U.S. Agency for International Development, Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance evaluating training programs for Latin American civil defense personnel and the assessment of post-impact disaster response and nongovernmental organization capabilities.
