Rocket Scientists
Rocket Scientists was formed in the late 1980s by keyboardist Erik Norlander and vocalist / guitarist Mark McCrite. The two released their first CD, “Earthbound”, in 1993 joined by then – session bassist Don Schiff. Schiff quickly became a part of the band for their second release in 1995, “Brutal Architecture”, and the three toured in the US and Europe in 1997 culminating in the live CD, “Earth Below and Sky Above: Live in Europe and America”. In 1999, Rocket Scientists released “Oblivion Days”, raising the bar on already high expectations.

Sheri Miller was born in an extremely musical and creative home in Long Island, New York. Her mother was an opera singer and classical pianist. Sheri composed dozens of songs on piano, by age 8, music and lyrics, from songs about eternal love to stadium rock anthems. She loved singing along with Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, and The Beatles.

Shore Leave is a fan-run Science Fiction media convention held every summer in Hunt Valley, Maryland. The convention features appearances by actors and writers from a broad variety of TV shows and movies ranging from current hits to classic favorites.

John Betancourt is the publisher of Wildside Press, as well as a mystery and science fiction writer. One of his current projects is the publication of a recently discovered alternate draft of John W. Campbell's classic "Who Goes There?" (filmed as The Thing by John Carpenter). He funded the project with Kickstarter, and it became one of the largest crowd-funded publishing projects of the year, raising more than $155,000.
