Peter Arnett Talks DATELINE-SAIGON, Saddam Hussein & Osama bin Laden On Tom Needham's SOUNDS OF FILM

DATELINE-SAIGON director, Tom Herman, and award-winning journalist, Peter Arnett, join Tom Needham on WUSB's THE SOUNDS OF FILM. Maja Zdanowski, the writer and director of IN GOD I TRUST, will also be on the show.

Dateline-Saigon tells the inspiring story of a small group of Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists David Halberstam, Neil Sheehan, Malcolm Browne, Peter Arnett, and the great photojournalist, Horst Faas, who fought to report a truth that was vastly different from the rosy version put forth by the White House during the early years of the Vietnam War...even as their own government sought to discredit them. The film is narrated by Sam Waterston.

Summer Reggaethon - RADIOTHON SPECIAL

The Summer Reggaethon is here!

Kick off the summer with your favorite WUSB DJs and guest DJs spinning great tunes while celebrating the rich cultural history of Reggae music.

The Reggaethon is also our closing special programming for the WUSB Spring/Summer Radiothon, which comes to close on July 4. Help WUSB meet its Radiothon goal and get us over the finish line with a pledge of support. We appreciate your support and we are grateful for your contribution.

While in recent years the Reggaethon has been three days long, due to the pandemic, it will be just over 24 hours.

The Reggaethon starts on Friday, July 3 at 7:00 PM and ends Saturday, July 4, at 9:00 PM. It will be a unique mix of live programming from the WUSB studios, recorded sets and live remote sessions.
