Mark has toured the world and shared the stage with an eclectic lineup of renowned musicians such as Elvis Costello, Sting, Travis Tritt, The Doobie Brothers, Delbert McClinton and David Bromberg.

In support of The Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame’s rescheduled induction of the Fat Boys on Sunday at 1 pm, The Sounds of of Film is featuring an in-depth conversation with Kool Rock-Ski and LIMEHOF Vice Chairman, Tom Needham.

The Fat Boys were an American hip hop trio from Brooklyn, New York, who emerged in the early 1980s. The group was composed of Mark "Prince Markie Dee" Morales, Damon "Kool Rock-Ski" Wimbley, and Darren "Buff Love" Robinson.

This Saturday night at midnight (Sunday 12-3am) the Melting World enters the realm of musical dissonance and high intensity avant garde free jazz with 2 sets in tribute to departed German saxophonist Peter Brötzmann (1941-2023).

Set 1: his Octet with bassist Peter Kowald live from 1968.

Set 2: Last Exit (Brötzmann, Bill Laswell, Sonny Sharrock & Shannon Jackson) recorded live in 1986.

Music from Electric Masada, Pharaoh Sanders, Jack DeJohnette’s Special Edition, A.R.C., Thumbscrew. Recorded meeting of guitar greats Derek Bailey & Pat Metheny. Sonny Sharrock and John McLaughlin on Miles Davis Jack Johnson sessions.

New music from Wadada Leo Smith and a tune from the first incarnation of Shakti, John McLaughlin and Zakir Hussien’s fusion of classical Hindustani and John’s guitar who will perform at the Capitol Theater in Port Chester on 8/19 and NJPAC in Newark on 8/20 for their 50th anniversary in cosmic hour.

The musical raft enters a new stream hosted by Ed Roller and dedicated to Mr Edison, Marc Greene and Ray Knives.
