Today I'll be talking about the breach at Old Inlet, just south of Bellport in the Bellport Bay. There is a lot of controversy over this new cut that Superstorm Sandy made last October. Here are some links and other info you may find useful if you are interested in this topic:

So if it isn't the breach, what is it? Here's one theory: http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/imageo/2013/02/14/east-coast-sea-level...

It's not just the south shore bays! Check out these video clips from NJ and MA:

Everything Is Broken playlist for 03/18/2013

Our show will begin a two-week look at those amongst us that pose a very real threat within the USA. Specifically hate and extremist groups that are armed and dangerous and intent upon mayhem. While they may call themselves “Patriots” even, we categorize them as domestic terrorists.

Our featured guest is Francis Hamit is an author and playwright who once spent 21 years in the industrial security business. Francis served in the U.S. Army Security Agency in Vietnam and Germany. His security career also included consulting about risk assessment and threats to people and property from various hazards, including terrorism.

His latest novel addresses the domestic terrorist threat posed by so-called patriot militias. It is called “Meltdown.”

His books can be purchased as e-books on Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble Nook, and KOBO, as well as PDF files through Ingram Digital. http://www.ingramcontent.com/pages/home.aspx. Print editions are also available and can also be ordered directly from Pathway Book Service 800.345.6665. Print link for “Meltdown”:
