WUSB's annual Salsathon will take place from 1PM on Friday, September 30 to 11:59PM on Sunday, October 2.

We will have our full complement of widely renowned non commercial radio producers as well as collectors, critics, and critical thinkers as well as a WUSB contingent and local community participation.

There will be a WUSB fundraiser at Shaker's Pub on October 1st featuring music from Frontline Entertainment. It will be a fun night for all!

WUSB will be promoting Blues on the Bay with a radio interview with Mark Gresser this Tuesday, September 27 on the Bustin' Out Blue Program (10 PM)

Hillsong United’s lead singer, Taya Smith, and the Ayn Rand Institute’s Yaron Brook will be featured guests on Tom Needham’s the Sounds of Film on WUSB.

Sept 25, Jazz On The Air features Port Jeff Doc Series organizers

This Sunday's Jazz On The Air, hosted by Mr. Edison, will feature some of the remarkable women who have organized the Port Jefferson Documentary Series for the last 11 years. Films that you just can't find anywhere else, well before they're snatched up by distributors, and most of them with the film makers present for further insight. Remarkable stuff right in WUSB-FM's back yard. And yes, we will be giving tickets away.

A blues co-bill: Toby Walker & Beaucoup Blue on Sunday, October 23rd, 5 P.M in WUSB's Sunday Street Concerts

Toby will be back from a current tour of Europe and Beaucoup Blue have songs from a new album, Elixir, to share with us. Look for them to join up for a few songs as well.

DON'T BREATHE and Evil Dead composer Roque Banos will Tom Needham's special guest this Thursday at 6 P.M. on The Sounds of Film on WUSB.

Roque Banos has created one of Hollywood's most unique scores of the year. For DON"T BREATHE, Roque incorporated the sounds of household objects performed by the avant-garde Anarchestra, known for playing unusual instruments, into the score. He traveled to their studio in Tucson Arizona to record the sounds.
