Oscar Winner, Paul Williams, Talks Jim Henson, Muppets and Music on Tom Needham’s Sounds of Film

Songwriter Paul Williams, will join Tom Needham this Thursday at 6 pm on WUSB’s ‘The Sounds of Film’ in order to discuss his new CD collection of music from Jim Henson’s ‘Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas.’ Also on the program is radio’s Denis McNamara, who will be discussing the DVD release of his hit documentary, ‘New Wave: Dare To Be Different.’

BEATLE-THON FOR RADIOTHON - NOVEMBER 10, 9:00 AM - 12:00 AM

John Tabacco and Bob Duffy host a 15 hour marathon playing the music of The Beatles on Nov. 10 from 9:00AM to 12 midnight. Everything Beatle related is on the table in this special. Joining John and Bob will be WUSB's own Jersey Jim of The Spin Zone.

We'll be playing anything from the Beatles' legendary catalog along with the many great songs Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starr have given us after the Beatles broke up in 1970.
